Why do we play poker? It seems like a somewhat meaningless question, but it’s not as straightforward as you might think. why play poker ? Some play it just for fun, and enjoy the thrill of spending some money with little hopes of walking away a winner – naturally an overwhelming majority of these players lose money in the long run. Other players pick their poker games with great care; study poker books and read every article they find on the subject. Then there are the pros, who seek out the casual players and walk away with their money.
